Queen Nerfertiti

Queen Nerfertiti was supposed to have been the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth.

Up in the Rocky mountains of New Mexico there is a rock formation that looks very much like the bust of Queen Nerfertiti of Egypt.

David Covell took a great picture of it.

Queen Nerfertiti was married to the man who ruled ancient Egypt.

Her daughter married King Tutankhamum, so Nerfertiti was Tut's mother-in-law. I've seen some of King Tut's stuff in the Cairo musuem years ago, and on my last trip to Berlin I saw the original bust of Nerfertiti.

The rock formation in New Mexico really does show an amazing resemblance to her.
